Mercedes Service
Mercedes has created the Flexible Service System. Mercedes ASSYST PLUS divides your maintenance needs into A and B service selections. Whenever your vehicle is due for a service, the system will alert you and it will then tell the maintenance specialists what work to do once you take it into the service centre.
Air Conditioning
According to Manufacturer’s 15% of your car’s air conditioning refrigerant leaches from the system every year, requiring your car to work harder to produce air to the required temperature. This places strain on the engine and increases fuel use. Furthermore, a poorly performing air conditioning system can cause a build-up of bacteria and can cause a bad smell within your car. Your air conditioning system should be serviced at least every two years so that you can:

Brake Fluid
A vital part of your Mercedes’ car maintenance is to change your brake fluid to ensure safety of brake components. Mercedes recommends your brake fluid is changed every 2 years or 20,000 miles whichever comes first. Overtime the brake fluid in your car becomes less effective. The braking system in your Mercedes contains complex parts that rely on brake fluid to perform their hydraulic tasks. Brake fluid is hygroscopic which means it absorbs moisture with age. This moisture in turn creates corrosion within internal brake components and decreases the boiling point of the brake fluid, resulting in reducing braking effectiveness and increasing stopping distances.

European law, known as 'Block Exemption', changed in 2003 to allow independent garages to carry out a Mercedes service without invalidating your Mercedes warranty. Mercedes Automatic Transmission
Your Mercedes Benz gearbox is a very sophisticated piece of engineering that requires regular oil changes. If the gearbox oil is dirty, it will damage other parts and affect performance. Your Mercedes Benz automatic gearbox oil and filter should be replaced every 40,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first.
Dirty oil can overheat the gearbox or cause the gearbox to burn out. This will lead to poor gear selection, loss of drive and transmission failure. During an automatic gearbox oil & filter replacement, we check the gearbox and look for any leaks. We drain the gearbox completely and replace the oil filter before filling it with high-quality gearbox oil that meets manufacturer standards.
